We found in Sophia's poetic word an opportunity for artistic creation that provides an experience of aesthetic enjoyment of her imaginary so fruitful in mysteries. We start from the short story A Viagem, one of the Exemplary Tales by Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen, to share the journey of a man and a woman who, while going to a wonderful, unknown place, successively find and lose everything they find . The Journey draws metaphorically the search for the deeper meaning of human life. “The road ran between fields and in the distance, sometimes saw mountains. It was the beginning of September and the morning stretched across the land, vast with light and fullness. All things seemed to be on.

And, inside the car (…), the woman said (…):
- It's the middle of life.
The tired woman closed her eyes a little, leaned her head against the back of the bench and began to imagine where they were going. It was a place they had never been. (…) It was said that it was a wonderful place. ”
